The next PeaceWorks Container Shipment to Nicaragua will be Saturday, May 5: Below is a list of special requests from our partner organizations in Nicaragua. If you have any of the mentioned items to give, please bring your donations to the church parking lot that morning between 9-11:30 a.m. Please don’t wait until noon. The earlier we get our donations to Plainfield, the greater the chance that all of our goods will make it into the container before it fills up. Please aim for 9 a.m. or 10 a.m. if you possibly can. We want to finish by 11:30, then drive the truck to the container. If you have a heavy item to donate and want it picked up, please call in advance to Dan Ocone or Marilyn Devroye. Our friends in Nicaragua hugely appreciate the Christ Church donations. Inhijambia director Mirna Sanchez says the girls in her program open the Christ Church boxes first, because that’s where they always find the nicest things.
