Meditative Reflection
He is the happiest, be he king or peasant, who finds peace in his home.
Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe
Home is where life makes up its mind. It is there – with fellow family members –we hammer out our convictions on the anvil of relationships. It is there we cultivate the valuable things in life, like attitudes, memories, beliefs, and most of all, character.
C.R. Swindoll

Leader:  This we know, the earth does not belong us,
People:  We belong to the earth.
Leader:  This we know, all things are connected,
People:  Like the blood that unites one family.
Leader:  This we know, we did not weave the web of life,
People:  We are merely a strand in it.
Leader:  This we know, whatever we do to the web,
People:  We do to ourselves.
Leader:  Let us give thanks for the gift of creation,
All:  Let us give thanks that all things hold together in Christ.

Lord’s Prayer (“debts/debtors”)
Our Father, who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our debts
As we forgive our debtors;
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil,
For Thine is the kingdom, and the power,
and the glory forever. Amen
