Call to Worship Cathy Doremus

Leader:  Come together, everyone
People:  and bring your stories and sing your songs and share in the Spirit.
Leader:  Let your feelings paint the sky like a rainbow of banners and balloons.
People:  Let your thoughts fill the air and come to life in sound ringing out like a song.
Leader:  And let even the silence speak with a thousand voices
People:  in tribute to our loving, living God and in celebration of our lives --
All:  the priceless gift God has given us.
Prayer of Invocation Cathy Doremus
Service of Baptism for Penelope Joy Williams Presented by Samantha and Brian Williams
  We receive this child as a new person in Christ. We offer our understanding and support as she explores life. We enfold her in our love, seeking together to grow in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and all people. We join with Samantha and Brian in telling the Gospel in our midst, so that their child and all children may live with us for Christ, showing forth his love for all people.
Song of Dedication
  Penelope, we greet you on this glad morning;
We are so happy that you are here.
Our fondest wishes go with you always:
God guard and keep you all through the years.

Lord’s Prayer (“debts/debtors”)
Our Father, who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our debts
As we forgive our debtors;
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil,
For Thine is the kingdom, and the power,
and the glory forever. Amen
