We never know when disaster will strike and it could effect Christ Church during a service or during the week when school is in session. The church is not the first responder, but every church in every community may be called on in a secondary capacity. Persons affected may need assistance that a church can provide. In addition, churches need disaster plans in case they are affected.

Church World Service is providing training at the UCC Conference Office. If you are a health care worker, a volunteer firefighter, a Red Cross volunteer,, or have other similar training or experience, you are an ideal candidate for this training.
